A Brief Introduction

About Me

I found Jesus in 2007 after owning a PC for about twelve months. Access to the internet introduced me to information that opened my eyes to the world, how it’s run, who’s running it, and how the Bible is at the centre of a battle for our minds.

Reading the Bible led me to the truth about the Sabbath, and lectures on the internet helped me understand the history of Sunday worship and how it usurped the LORD’s seventh-day.

This truth led me to the Seventh-day Adventist Church where I was baptised in 2009. I truly believed they were the last church to carry the candle of truth, until I realised they they’d fallen into apostasy, as had every denomination before them.

Many people came out of their churches in the 1800s, the churches that refused to break from the doctrines of Rome —the wine of Babylon (Rev 14:8). The SDA Church returned to Babylon of their own free will.

I still believe the Adventists were given the truths to finish the reformation. The advent movement can be found in the Bible, it’s prophetic, and that’s why I joined their church, but I was naive, I didn’t understand the difference between a church and a denomination.

We (my wife and I) were frozen out of the SDA Church after they tried unsuccessfully to disfellowship us, there was a vote, and they decided to go for censure instead of what the board wanted. All rights were removed, we weren’t allowed to teach, to preach, my wife wasn’t even allowed to sing.

The pastor then went to work, turning any remaining friends we had against us (Jer 10:21) …and what was the crime? We were trying to tell people about the deception of the trinity, and the fact that the SDA Church was founded on the truth that Jesus was the literal, real and eternal Son of God (Mic 5:2, Joh 16:27-28, Pro 8:22-24).

Of course, they only wanted to know the co-equal and co-eternal son of god, the one you can’t find in the Bible. I suppose the moral of this story is that nothing has changed, the examples of the past really do come around like the Bible says (Ecc 1:9, 3:15), and today, people are still getting thrown out the synagogue (Joh 9:22, 12:42) for professing Jesus to be the Son of God (Joh 9:35-36), just as some of the Jews did back in the day.

For now,

About This Website

theGODofOurFathers is a brand new website, and due to somewhat limited experience it took me longer than I anticipated to get to this stage, so please bear with the issues that still need to be addresed.

The Home Page contains more topics than I would have liked, and will therefore be broken into sections in the future, and each section, or topic, will be given its own page. For now It will have to ramain as one article, but I will address it.

Although not everything is working as it should, I thought it best to get the home page up because I wanted to offer Bible studies to people in my local area —and possibly online, maybe.

The search box isn’t fully functional yet, the site had to go live before Elementor could help me fix it, so hopefully that will be done soon. If anyone has experience with Elementor and knows where to find the search results page, so it can be styled, I would appreciate a heads up.

Not everyone is aware, but you can do a word search of the page you’re on by pressing the control (CTRL) and ‘F’ button simultaniously on your keyboard. This will open a text box where you can enter your keyword, all instances of that word will then be lit up on the page up and you can click through them using the arrows on the text box.

It differs depending on the browser, but the text box for Firefox is bottom left, and top right for Chrome. On a mobile you have to click the browser menu (3 dots) and select ‘find in page’.

The Study page of this website contains a menu with titles I hope to write about. I’m not sure of the order yet but I can upload articles in part until they’re completed. If you have questions about any of the titles the Contact page is your best option.

There is a slight issue with the ‘call to action’ on the Home page, that’s the official name for the option to book a Bible study. For some reason, as yet still unknown to me, the date option is messed up, but it can be left out for now and I can email you back to discuss details regarding Bible study date and times.

I will try and upoload any books I quote from into the Library section, depending on copyright, or I can at least post a link to the site that I downloaded it from.

The page links in the footer of the website will be looked at later, all in all it’s still under construction so please be patient. I hope it serves a purpose, and by God’s grace helps at least one person in some small way (Mar 4:31-32). Shalom.
